Each of the sketchbooks above were exercises to either help me focus on drawing itself or trying to expand my knowledge of techniques when drawing. One that was especially interesting to me was the blind contour drawing shown in thebottom right photo. To achieve this we were to look at our hand while observing each of the lines and details while drawing it with our other hand out of our sight. This made us focus on the details and really draw what we see not what we have conceptualized in our minds.
